Department of Physics
The Department of Physics at GPGC Mansehra offers a rigorous BS program designed to develop students into competent physicists capable of contributing to research, education, and industry. Our curriculum covers classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics. Students engage in hands-on laboratory work that reinforces theoretical concepts and develops practical skills essential for careers in science and technology. The department has a dedicated team of qualified faculty members who mentor students through their academic journey.
Eligibility Criteria
FSc (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical) with minimum 50% marks or equivalent qualification. Students must have studied Physics at intermediate level.
Career Prospects
Graduates can pursue careers as Physics teachers, research scientists, laboratory technicians, data analysts, engineers (with additional qualifications), and can continue to MS/PhD programs in Physics or related fields.
