Quality Enhancement Cell

Driving Excellence, Ensuring Quality.

Welcome to Quality Assurance Cell

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Government Postgraduate College (GPGC) Mansehra serves as the institutional focal point for quality assurance, academic quality enhancement, and continuous improvement of teaching, learning, assessment, and administrative processes. The QEC operates under the guidance and quality assurance framework of the Quality Assurance Cell (QAC), Higher Education Department (HED), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and works to ensure that the college's academic and administrative practices are aligned with the prescribed quality standards and requirements of higher education authorities. The QEC facilitates the implementation of quality assurance mechanisms within the college through self-assessment, academic program evaluation, collection and analysis of institutional data, preparation of quality reports, monitoring of academic and administrative processes, maintenance of program/course files, student and faculty feedback, and follow-up of identified deficiencies and improvement actions.

The QEC also coordinates with Heads of Departments, faculty members, administrative offices, committees, and other portfolio holders to collect evidence, assess institutional performance, identify areas requiring improvement, and develop appropriate corrective and enhancement measures. It supports departments in maintaining proper documentation and evidence required for institutional and program-level quality assurance and accreditation processes.

Furthermore, the QEC of GPGC Mansehra maintains professional coordination with the Quality Assurance and Accreditation mechanisms of Hazara University, Mansehra, and participates as a member of the Quality Assurance/Quality Enhancement and Accreditation-related committee (QACEC), where applicable. This engagement provides an opportunity for the college to benefit from academic quality practices, standards, expert guidance, and institutional quality assurance initiatives at the university level.
