🕌 Department of Islamic Studies
The Department of Islamic Studies provides a scholarly examination of Islam — its theology, jurisprudence, history, and contemporary dimensions. The BS Islamic Studies program covers Quran and Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic history, comparative religions, and Islamic thought. Students develop critical thinking skills within the framework of Islamic scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
FA, FSc, or equivalent with Islamic Studies/Islamiat. Minimum 45% marks.
Career Prospects
Graduates can work as Islamic scholars, Islamiat teachers, mosque imams, researchers, civil servants, judges in family courts, and social workers.
