🌺 Department of Pashto
The Department of Pashto celebrates the language and literature of one of the world's oldest living languages, deeply rooted in the culture of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The BS Pashto program covers classical and modern Pashto poetry, prose, literature, linguistics, and folk traditions. Located in the heart of Hazara, the department celebrates the linguistic heritage of the Pashtun people while developing students' scholarly and literary capabilities.
Eligibility Criteria
FA, FSc, or equivalent with Pashto as a subject (preferred). Minimum 45% marks.
Career Prospects
Pashto graduates work as Pashto teachers, broadcasters, journalists, content writers, translators, researchers, cultural officers, and government officials.
