The Department of Botany explores plant life in its fullest dimension — from cell biology to ecology. The BS Botany program covers plant morphology, anatomy, physiology, genetics, taxonomy, ecology, and economic botany.
Eligibility Criteria
FSc (Pre-Medical) with minimum 45% marks. Biology must have been studied at intermediate level.
Career Prospects
Botany graduates can work as botanists, agricultural officers, forest officers, environmental consultants, horticulturists, plant biotechnologists, and lecturers.
